Rubio's plumbing

I had a backed-up sewer that was causing wastewater to fill my bathtub every time I flushed the toilet, so I called Rubio's Plumbing for help. Brandon and Fernando were dispatched to my home, and they responded quickly and got right to work. Both Brandon and Fernando were attentive, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Fernando climbed onto the roof while Brandon lifted a very heavy plumbing snake up to him. Fernando then fed the snake through the roof vent and successfully cleared the blockage. Unfortunately, the sewer backed up again the following day. I called Rubio's Plumbing, and Brandon and Fernando promptly returned at no additional charge. This time, they ran the snake much farther through the line and used a camera to inspect the pipe and identify the cause of the stubborn clog. Throughout both visits, Brandon and Fernando demonstrated outstanding professionalism, a strong work ethic, and genuine dedication to solving the problem correctly. They worked tirelessly despite the intense heat on both days and never cut corners. Their commitment to excellent customer service and doing the job right was evident from start to finish. They are a tremendous asset to the company. I highly recommend Rubio's Plumbing for all your plumbing needs, and I especially want to recognize Robert Rubio (Owner), along with Brandon and Fernando for their exceptional service.

I had Rubio’s Plumbing at my home this week because my yard drains were not flowing freely. Brandon and Fernando showed up on time and got to it. Their work included snaking the lines and then hydro blasting the drainage pipe. I never felt they took any shortcuts and the job took longer than I thought it would. I was waiting to hear “we quoted you this price but it took a lot longer so here is the updated cost”. That did not happen. Brandon and Fernando were very professional and friendly. This company was recommended to me by the company that will install my gutters and I will absolutely recommend them as well. It was a very pleasant experience. Give them a try!

Great price and very fast at doing the job. The plumber was able to fix the leak in my copper for the bathroom sink within 20 mins. Their price is also very affordable. Overall, will definitely be a returning customer! Highly recommended to everyone!

Called him for a second opinion and they listened to my tale of woe. Gave me a reasonable quote to update the water supply for the whole house. Super friendly plumbers, finished it on the time. So happy to have a functional home again!

Had a clogged kitchen drain that flooded my kitchen floor, so I called around for plumbers in the San Gabriel Valley area. Robert from Rubio's Plumbing showed up on time for the free estimate - already a good sign. What impressed me most was how thorough he was. While other plumbers gave quotes after barely looking around, Robert actually crawled through the entire crawlspace and found things the others completely missed. Turns out my drain wasn't just clogged - it was cracked and leaking. He also spotted that the old pipes had no support straps, the slope was wrong (which caused the clogging), and there was an improper connection to the main line causing backups. He gave me two quotes: one for just fixing the immediate problem, and another for replacing all the drains if I wanted to address everything. No pressure, just options. His price was fair - not the cheapest quote I got (which came from a guy who didn't even look at the pipes), but way less than the big company that wanted 3x as much for less work because "we have thousands of reviews." The crew (Fernando and Brandon) showed up on time too. Here's what really showed their professionalism - before starting, they moved all my kids' outdoor toys away from the dusty work area and laid out tarps. They actually left my place cleaner than they found it. They even let us know before pulling out the smelly old pipes so we could close windows for a minute. Robert spent time drawing diagrams and showing me photos so I understood exactly what was wrong. Two other plumbers just wanted to replace everything and tear up my yard and foundation. No thanks - I just needed the broken pipe fixed, not my whole house replumbed. Before leaving the estimate, Robert even gave me tips on treating the moisture under the house from the leak, mentioning "I see you have kids, you really don't want that moisture sitting there." That's when I knew he actually cared. They took clear before and after photos showing they did exactly what they promised. My kids were curious about the work, and the crew was patient and friendly with them. If you want honest work at a fair price from people who actually investigate the problem before quoting, call Rubio's Plumbing. Perfect if you're tired of big companies trying to oversell you or cheap quotes from people who don't even look at the issue.
