My water pressure regulator failed and needed to be replaced. I received a quote from another plumber from FrontDoor for $800. This other plumber was the type to charge for the initial diagnostic visit, with the charge going toward the repair if I went ahead with the project with them, a practice I find to be coercive. The $800 seemed high to me so I bid the project on yelp and came across DLT plumbing, who quoted $500. Oscar was willing to come out ASAP to take a look at the issue free of charge regardless of whether I hired him or not. It was easy to schedule the appointment in a 2-hour window and I asked him to text with a head’s up 30-min prior to arrival, which he did. Oscar was amicable and honest. Upon arrival, I also asked Oscar to look at a toilet that was leaking. He put on booties when entering the house without me asking. He generated a quote, went to purchase one part he did not have (relief valve) and returned promptly to make the repairs. He worked quickly and efficiently and completed the work in under 2 hours (including going to purchase the relief valve). Very honest, easy to work with, and a great communicator. So happy I found DLT plumbing and will definitely be my first call for any future plumbing issues.

This past Saturday we suddenly had toilets and showers backing up, and it could not have happened at a worse time. We were overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do on a Saturday evening, but thankfully we were referred to DLT Plumbing. Oscar came out that same night and immediately got to work. He brought a camera and took the time to show us exactly what was going on inside the pipes while clearly explaining everything to us. Being able to actually see the issue for ourselves made us feel much more confident in his recommendations and the work that needed to be done. Oscar returned Monday with his crew and they got straight to work. He stayed in communication with me from start to finish, which I really appreciated during such a stressful situation. The crew did an amazing job and left our home looking exactly as they found it — despite having to dig a new hole in our front yard. You honestly would never know the work had been done. After the repair, Oscar followed up with a detailed email that included before-and-after photos and videos, along with information about the work completed. He also guarantees his work and already has us scheduled for a follow-up appointment next year. I would absolutely recommend DLT Plumbing to family and friends. Professional, communicative, thorough, and trustworthy from beginning to end.
